how it works

Most of a newsletter is who gets it.

A family villa offer means nothing to the guest who came alone for a week of surfing. With Vivre, picking the right people takes one sentence.

01

Write who you mean

Type "opened something in the last three months, lives in Australia" and Vivre turns it into a group, with the number of people in it right there. You know if it's 40 people or 4,000 before you write a word.

02

See the number before it sends

Every send stops on one screen that says who it goes to, how many people, and from which address. Nothing leaves before you've read it.

03

Send it in stages

The people who open you most get it first: a few hundred on day one, then about double each morning. If bounces start to climb, the send pauses on its own.

Press releases in. Reports out.

For media outlets and PR teams whose newsletters feature hotels and villas. Two things coming to Vivre next, shaped by how these newsletters are actually put together.

Press release in, story out

Paste a hotel's press release and get a finished story block for your newsletter: a photo, a headline, two short lines and a link, laid out the way your newsletter already looks.

A report for every hotel you feature

Vivre already records which link every click went to. Next, each hotel you feature gets a report of its own to show for it: how many people its story went to and how many clicked through.

Three steps. We do the fiddly one.

We do it with you, by hand, over WhatsApp, and you decide when the first email goes out.

  1. 01

    Send us your export

Export your list from your old email platform, exactly as it comes. People who unsubscribed or bounced stay that way.

questions

Before you move a list.

The questions worth asking first, answered plainly.

What is Vivre?

Vivre is newsletter software for hotels, villas, resorts and media outlets. You describe who an email is for in plain words, see exactly how many people that is, and send it from your own domain.

Who is Vivre for?

Teams that already send a newsletter: hotels, villas and resorts writing to past guests, and media outlets or PR teams sending stories to their readers.

Can I still send to everyone?

Yes. A newsletter, EDM or email blast to your whole list works the same way. Vivre still skips anyone who unsubscribed or whose address bounced for good.

Will I lose subscribers when I move my list?

No. Send us the export from your current email platform as it comes. Vivre keeps the people who are subscribed, keeps out those who unsubscribed or bounced, and merges duplicates.

What can I group people by?

Anything your list holds: who opened or clicked and when, tags, the date someone joined, and country if your export has that column. You type it the way you would say it to a colleague.

Will my newsletter come from my own email address?

Yes. Every Vivre client sends from their own domain, such as news@yourhotel.com. We set up the domain records with you, so inboxes can check the email really comes from you.

Is Vivre good for media outlets that feature hotels?

Yes. Media outlets and PR teams send their newsletters with Vivre the same way hotels do. Two features for them are coming next: turning a hotel's press release into a finished story block, and a report for each featured hotel showing how many people its story went to and how many clicked.

Can an email scanner unsubscribe my readers?

No. Company email filters open every link in an email before the reader sees it, unsubscribe links included. In Vivre, opening the link only asks; nobody is unsubscribed until a person presses the button, so a scanner can't take anyone off your list.

Can the same person get an email twice?

No. Vivre skips anyone who has already received that email, even if they sit in several of the groups you picked, or you send it to another group later.

What does sending in stages mean?

Vivre sends to the people who open your emails most often first: a few hundred on day one, then roughly double each morning. If bounces start to climb, the send pauses on its own.

Who do I talk to if something goes wrong?

Sathya, who builds Vivre, on WhatsApp. Every account is set up by hand, so the person who set yours up is the person who answers.

How do I start using Vivre?

Message Vivre on WhatsApp at +62 812 2700 9510. We go through your list with you, set up your domain, and you send your first newsletter from your own address.
